     tomorrow the meteorologists predict snow,

     snow that turns into sleet and ice—

     before it ends unexpected events

     will happen and lives may change

     uncertainty follows behind us

     dragging stories 

     along with endings

     we can’t imagine

     we live in this moment

     we create our lives 

     from single moments
