With Respect To

Life moves forward

 and they forget

to make contact—

perhaps tomorrow

No time to say hello, 

or ask what’s new

No time to connect,

and have a real talk,

 to share thoughts,

and dreams, and then 

tomorrow becomes 

too busy

Keeping in touch 

will wait

until another day
