Amazing Grace

you can't buy it
or trade for it
you can't go looking
in your usual hiding places
it's right out there
catches you unaware
and if you're not paying
attention you'll just
let it slip right by
cause you thought
it would be wrapped
in glossy paper, announcing
itself with a drum roll
but it's quiet like
and you never know
who is going to be
a messenger
