Hearing

I am setting out on a voyage
without a true north, with
parameters that lack clarity
and I will need to rely on
people whose names,
are not yet written
in my address book
People who speak
a language I will learn
I haven't signed up,
nor requested membership,
but find myself initiated
into this journey where
I can't see the shore
