Sketching an Ocean View

This view I'm trying to capture

in pen and ink eludes me, just

when my line mimics the ocean's

Jeté entrelacé it falters

Perhaps it's best this way-- 

I watch the water enter this space

 and retreat-- a seductive dance

and I am captivated
