Tonight I ate Corn on the Cob
we passed miles of corn fields
with stalks so high
they brushed against the clouds
tassels that followed the wind
and leaves holding tight
to husks of corn
when the wind blew the fields
swayed, undulated, became a sea
moving across the landscape
with stalks so high
they brushed against the clouds
tassels that followed the wind
and leaves holding tight
to husks of corn
when the wind blew the fields
swayed, undulated, became a sea
moving across the landscape
