The Lord bless you and keep you,
the Lord make his face to shine upon
        you and be gracious to you,
the Lord lift up his countenance upon
       you, and give you peace.

and the priests blessed the people
and the people rested in the blessing
and the Lord said my peace
surrounds you, enfolds you

and the Lord said

let me hold you
let me tell you a story

and the Lord talked
and you listened
to the words
and peace encircled you

and the Lord reminded you
that His peace can't be
parsed, it just is
