Sunday Fellowship
She reads scripture, sounds
out each syllable and leaves
a space between breaths
And the Spirit hovers nearby
Two women stand with the minister
and sign the Lord's Prayer
One woman waits and watches
signs before she moves her hands
And the Spirit hovers nearby
A woman reads her testimony
She speaks of forgiveness
"I was angry at God for making
me Down Syndrome." "Now,"
she says, " I call it Up Syndrome."
And the Spirit hovers nearby
We sing
You Raise Me Up
"Sometimes, I think I see eternity"
And the Spirit hovered nearby
And the Spirit hovered nearby
out each syllable and leaves
a space between breaths
And the Spirit hovers nearby
Two women stand with the minister
and sign the Lord's Prayer
One woman waits and watches
signs before she moves her hands
And the Spirit hovers nearby
A woman reads her testimony
She speaks of forgiveness
"I was angry at God for making
me Down Syndrome." "Now,"
she says, " I call it Up Syndrome."
And the Spirit hovers nearby
We sing
You Raise Me Up
"Sometimes, I think I see eternity"
And the Spirit hovered nearby
And the Spirit hovered nearby
