                                  Leviticus 12

before we ever thought of it
the Lord knew the need
to rest after birth,
to be free of obligations,
 to avoid pressures,
and then in time life
would resume with all its
shoulds and should nots
it's knots and pace
but for a short while
a woman was exempt
