you
listen up
just drop that
you're carrying
too heavy a burden
that grudge you wear
like a shawl, pulled tight
stifles you, drags you down
until it's a chain wearing you out
don't spend all that time polishing
up each link, just take it off and
shake the kinks out from your
shoulders, inhale fresh air
and forgive the other
maybe right now
someone is
