Daydream

Looking back means turning around
and staring at the past, you can't change
it, don't want to get lost in nostalgia, don't
want to forget to keep walking forward
Some days I just step into a memory
and stay put, some days I look in the mirror
and know that looking back
can't erase time, its just a catalogue
that I thumb and ease myself into
