Make believe that it isn't snowing
Make believe that the ground is bare
Close your eyes and envision flowers
I did see crocuses yesterday
forcing shoots through the snow
Imagine eating a fish sandwich,
and a swirled raspberry
and coffee ice cream cone
while seated on a picnic bench,
Make believe
But act like it's true
