for a sign
that the Holy Spirit
took up residence
and planned to stay
some folks say
that they've never
been introduced
some folks simply
listen for the breath
then they know for sure

some days I think
someone's looking
over my shoulder
some days I think
I feel a twinge
other days I don't
wait and listen
just move along
on my own
some days
I feel full
