A Day to Remember

When the ocean spews droplets on the rocks
When the rocks split into abstract patterns
When the path meanders through woods
When grass forces its way through cracks
When cobbles roll against each other
sending thunder across the rock beach
When the sun burns across the landscape
When the moon lights up the ocean
I shall tiptoe on moonbeams
release moon dust over the landscape
and gather armfuls of cobbles
as mementoes
