Peeling wallpaper, telephone book pages, smoldering paper from a fire, lint, old letters, stamps from the time stamps needed licking—save everything. Catalog your findings. Labels from tuna fish cans, recipes written on napkins, crinkled potato chip bags— preserve it all. Collect the detritus of the world and create a collage for posterity.
